Round 10 of the Premier League season augurs movement at the top, with third place Liverpool set to visit league-leading Arsenal on Saturday. More than a few pundits, impressed by Liverpool’s ‘SAS’ attack, are picking Brendan Rodgers’ duo to get the best of Per Mertesacker and Laurent Koscielny, potentially handing Arsenal their first loss since the season’s opening week.

Any slip by the Gunners could benefit London rivals Chelsea, who travel north to face Newcastle in the weekend’s opening match. Manchester United (at Fulham) and Manchester City (vs. Norwich) also play Saturday, giving the Premier League’s Champions League entrants the extra day’s preparation before mid-week matches.

Two of the weekends best games, however, will take place on Sunday, a day that opens with two possession-hungry teams testing each others comfort zones at Goodison Park. Tottenham (averaging league-best 59.8% of the ball) is only three points off the top ahead of their meeting Everton (57.1%), where last year’s fixture saw two stoppage time goals from the Toffees derailed André Villas-Boas’s side.

Capping the weekend, the South Wales Derby finally makes its way to the Premier League when Cardiff City hosts Swansea. Joe Prince-Wright has more on that game here and here.
