QPR boss Chris Ramsey is feeling pretty aggrieved after a pair of non-calls deprived his relegation-threatened club the chance to snare a point against Tottenham at Loftus Road on Saturday.

Harry Kane scored twice before Sandro pulled one back for the R’s. But after nearly snaring a point against Arsenal last week, Charlie Austin’s shot was blocked in-tight by Nabil Bentaleb’s hand and then face. No call.

“We’re very disappointed. We thought we deserved at least a point from the game with two controversial incidents [QPR’s two penalty claims] we need clarification on.

“We’re going to need to take a look at those and we hope they don’t cost us at the end of the season. We appreciate the referees have a difficult job and sometimes they go against you.

“There’s a point where you need a break, but we can’t rely on that, we need to keep working.”

Those are points the R’s could need to stay up, and they certainly have a right to be upset with the Bentaleb non-call. It’s a tough road back to safety for QPR.
