Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has one of his two preferred Manchester United targets in the fold, while Wilfried Zaha continues to wait for resolution to his playing time problem.

Solskjaer revealed that, yes, he is taking on Red Devils defender Fabio, twin brother of Rafael, and that one brother is looking after the other. It’s not a surprise, as the two have been playing together since they were little boys.

”He (Fabio) wanted to stay near his family and they’ve played in the same team they’re whole life.

“Rafael came to me after the game and asked me to look after his brother, his big brother, apparently Rafael was born a few minutes later.

“I’ll look after him, he’s good for us.”

This is the first time the twins, 23, have permanently played for different sides. While Rafael has appeared 81 times for United, scoring five goals, Fabio has struggled to find his place on the red side of Manchester. He appeared just 22 times for the club, scoring once, and also being loaned to QPR last season.

Meanwhile, Solskjaer says that while the Bluebirds are working hard to bring Zaha to Wales on loan, the deal is not done yet.
