There’s another ex-Sunderland coach looking for work, as Real Betis fired manager Gus Poyet after just 11 matches in charge.

Betis finished 10th last season despite scoring the fewest goals in La Liga, and Poyet saw the side drop to 14th in La Liga after claiming just 11 points (and goals) to start the season.

The club thanked Poyet for his work in an announcement that Víctor Sánchez del Amo will take over the club. Sanchez is no stranger to short stints, let go by Olympiacos after just two matches in charge of the Greek squad.
