It’s all over but the medical, as the once-silly concept of Petr Cech facing off against Chelsea seems certain this season.

Sky Sports says Cech has agreed to terms with Arsenal, and the Gunners have agreed to spend around $17 million to bring him to the Emirates Stadium.

Cech is a legend at Chelsea, having played in 485 matches since arriving from Rennes in 2004. While at Stamford Bridge, Cech won:

- Four Premier League titles
- Four FA Cups
- Three League Cups
- One Champions League
- One Europa League

Then the 33-year-old Czech goalkeeper fell victim to the rise of Thibaut Courtois, and stuck around through a backup campaign last season as Chelsea won the Premier League.

But he had an agreement that owner Roman Abramovich would not block him from going elsewhere after this season, and Arsenal is the location.

Now Cech will sit atop of depth chart of Wojciech Szczesny and David Ospina, at least until they secure moves away from the North London club.
