As Chelsea prepares to go for its 10th consecutive Premier League win on Wednesday, Antonio Conte and co. will have to so without one of their most prominent attacking figures.

According to the Guardian, Eden Hazard will miss Chelsea’s match against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light after picking up an injury in the team’s previous win over West Brom.

The Belgian attacker exited the 1-0 win late on against the Baggies after suffering a knock, and Willian will likely be tabbed to replace the 25-year-old when the Blues take to the road on Wednesday.

With the PL fixture list picking up as the holidays approach, Chelsea will likely remain cautious over the status of the Belgian star. After Wednesday’s match, the Blues will take the field once more on Saturday when they travel to Crystal Palace.
