It took less than 10 minutes for Manchester City to find the scoresheet and it’s no surprise it came through a tidy turn and low finish from Aguero. The Argentine collected Bacary Sagna’s pass off a Fernandinho diagonal to make it 1-0.
Swansea was undeterred, though, as big summer signing Llorente made his presence felt with a quick equalizer. The longtime Athletic Bilbao man took a flick from Gylfi Sigurdsson and belted a half volley behind Claudio Bravo. 1-1.

Swans stuck around despite massive pressure and possession from Man City, who was just missing that finishing edge. As the game hit an hour, it began to look like the Welsh hosts could just steal a point from embattled manager Francesco Guidolin.
That changed thanks to Mike van der Hoorn, who elbowed Kevin De Bruyne in the face inside the 18. He took a yellow for his troubles, and Aguero used a stuttering run-up to make it 2-1.
Sterling gave Man City its insurance goal with a ankle-breaking dance inside the 18.
