It was second half euphoria at White Hart Lane, where Tottenham Hotspur thrashed Manchester United 3-0 on Sunday to keep their faint title hopes alive.

Dele Alli, Toby Alderweireld and Erik Lamela scored three goals in a six-minute span to give Spurs their big win, which keeps them within 7 points of Leicester City.

In a word, Spurs were rampant once the 25th minute hit. Harry Kane had slipped around David De Gea, only to see his chance slid away from him by Timothy Fosu-Mensah.

Moments later, Lamela’s diving header went the wrong way to keep it scoreless. Spurs certainly had the better moments of the opening 45, but found a 0-0 deadlock at the break.oo

The second half was all Spurs.

First Kane and Eriksen teamed up to provide Alli a chance he wouldn’t miss. Then Alderweireld got on the end of a Lamela free kick and clinically turned it past De Gea.

And here’s Lamela himself, belting a shot behind the Spanish keeper.

Three goals, six minutes. 3-0.
