Trabzonspor reveals Fabian Castillo loan from FC Dallas

In what has proven to be a whirlwind few weeks for Fabian Castillo and FC Dallas, the promising attacker could very well be headed to Turkey after all.

Turkish side Trabzonspor has announced a loan deal with an option to buy for the 14-year-old winger after recent reports suggested a tiring back-and-forth between Dallas and the the club from Turkey.

FC Dallas has yet to confirm the transaction, but given Castillo’s desire to leave the club it seems very likely that he won’t return to the current Western Conference leaders.

On Thursday, Sports Illustrated reported Castillo’s loan move for the remainder of 2016 to be $3 million. Trabzonspor would then have to complete the payment in January or else Castillo would be free to move back to FC Dallas.
