Incase you were wondering if teams still care about Mario Balotelli, they do.

It may not be that of an English giant or even a return to Italy, but the striker has drawn interest again, and the move could potentially given Balotelli a clean slate.

Dutch giants Ajax are reportedly weighing a move for Balotelli after recently losing striker Arkadiusz Milik to a move to Napoli.

Balotelli, 25, remains a Liverpool player despite spending last season on loan at Serie A side AC Milan. The Italy international netted just one finish in his 20 appearances for Milan.

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is said to be closely eyeing a Brazilian player performing alongside Neymar this summer at the Olympics.

Santos midfielder Thiago Maia is reportedly the player being speculated to join the Blues, while Conte and Chelsea are still said to be after Everton’s Romelu Lukaku and Kalidou Kaulibaly. According to the Daily Mirror, Maia’s agent, Kia Joorabchian, is already in discussions with Chelsea over a potential move to London.

AC Milan is reportedly set to sign Paraguayan Gustavo Gomez after the 23-year-old spent time in Argentina with Lanus. The defender is expected to join on loan, with Milan holding an option to buy the player on a full-time basis.
