With Paul Pogba all but headed to Manchester United, at least that’s what we think, Real Madrid is seeking another option to hold down the team’s midfield.

While the name isn’t as flashy as Pogba, or as pricy for that matter, Zinedine Zidane and co. could bring in Chelsea’s Nemanja Matic to take on a deep-lying role with the reigning Champions League holders.

Real is reportedly prepared to offer the Blues a $44 million bid for Matic, who is said to be keen on completing a move away from Stamford Bridge. Meanwhile, Real has also been linked with Newcastle midfielder Moussa Sissoko, however, Los Blancos will only go after one or the other this summer.

He nearly came close to a move to Liverpool in January 2015, so could Martin Odegaard finally fulfill his childhood dream of playing at Anfield?

With the Norwegian youngster making just one first-team appearance at Real Madrid since joining the club, Odegaard is likely set for a loan move this season, with Liverpool serving as a viable option.

Odegaard, 17, hasn’t lived up to the hype while with Real Madrid Castilla over the past season-and-a-half, netting a mere two goals in 45 appearances for the Spanish side.

Middlesbrough has already had one of the Premier League’s most impressive summers, but the club isn’t done just yet.

After missing out on Neven Subotic due to an unforeseen injury, Boro is prepared to make a move for former Manchester United defender Fabio.

The 26-year-old has spent the past few seasons at Cardiff City after a five-year stint in Manchester, where the Brazilian made over 56 appearances for the club. Middlesbrough hopes to add to its already strong squad, which has added goalkeepers Victor Valdes and Brad Guzan, as well as striker Alvaro Negredo this summer.
