U.S. Under-17s down UAE 4-0, start Mondial Minimes tournament right

Thankfully, the U-17s seem set to take our minds off Olympic non-qualifying, posting a 4-0 result on the United Arab Emirates to open the 40th Mondial Minimes in France. The team opened the scoring in the 23rd minute through [minor’s name omitted]1. [Minor’s name omitted]2 doubled the lead five minutes into the second, with [minor’s name omitted]3 piling on 21 minutes later. [Minor’s name omitted]4 completed the walk in stoppage time.

Next up? Portugal on Thursday - the second and final match of group play. If the U.S. advances, they will on Apr. 7 and 9.
