The only things that can keep Bobby Wood off the score sheet are injury and suspension
The Honolulu-born forward, 23, has been scoring goals on a weekly basis for Union Berlin, and added his 13th of the season from the penalty spot on Saturday. Union lost 2-1 to MSV Duisberg.
That figure is third in 2.Bundesliga, three behind leader Nils Petersen (Freiburg) and two back of Bochum’s Simon Terodde.

Wood’s scored in the last five games, missing one to a shoulder injury and another to yellow card accumulation.
Go back to Dec. 12, and Wood has eight goals in his last seven appearances. He also has four goals for the USMNT since June, netting against Germany, the Netherlands, Mexico, and St. Vincent & The Grenadines.
Shouldn’t he be starting for Jurgen Klinsmann later this month against Guatemala?
