If Alejandro Bedoya and his Canaries keep this up, Nantes will be playing in European competition next season.

The USMNT midfielder continued his French wizardy with a brilliant dribble and gorgeous through ball that led to Jordan Veretout’s goal in Nantes 2-1 win over Bordeaux.

It ended a run of three-straight defeats for 7th place Nantes, which is now four points back of Bordeaux for the No. 5 slot in Ligue 1. The assist also comes one week after his wonder strike was the Canaries only goal in a 2-1 loss to mighty Paris Saint-Germain.

Nantes now gets lower-half clubs Lorient and Metz before a tough match-up with No. 8 AS Monaco. It’s unlikely and would be a story of the season in Europe, but can the Canaries come out of France?
