Iceland -- the smallest nation ever to compete at a European Championship finals tournament -- scored a late winner against Austria on Wednesday to seal their spot in the Round of 16 of EURO 2016 and set up a clash with England in Nice next Monday.

The nation of just over 320,000 citizens has reached the knockout rounds in their first-ever major tournament.

When Arnor Ingvi Traustason scored to make it 2-1 against Austria in the 94th minute, pandemonium ensued among the Icelandic players, fans and also in the commentary booth.
