A half-decade ago, Charlie Austin was working days as a bricklayer and nights scoring goals for semi-pro side Poole Town.
This week, he’s the Premier League player of the week after burying three goals in QPR’s 3-2 win over West Bromwich Albion.

Austin has 11 goals in 15 matches this season for the R’s, and is making a case for an England call-up despite having never represented his country at a single youth level.
The 25-year-old makes it three London clubs is as many weeks to have a player win the honors.
