VIDEO: Slovakian match interrupted by... a train

It is one of those moments when you rub your eyes and say, “wait a minute, what!?”

During an amateur game in Slovakia, incredible footage showing an old-school steam train motoring past the main stand of TJ Tatran Cierny Balog’s home match has gone viral.

Now, we know of stadiums being close to ports, airports and main highways but this is something else.

Watch the video above to see it all happen, as the game becomes secondary to a majestic steam train yards away from spectators and the pitch.

Bonus: I enjoy that the players on the pitch have no interest whatsoever at the scenes playing out around them. Good focus, lads. Also, that one spectator at the front right of the stand is so happy to get his wish of the whistle being blown on the train, isn’t he?
