Manchester United can reclaim the table’s top spot and send Arsenal into a tailspin with one fell swoop as they travel to the Emirates to face the Gunners live on NBCSN or live online at NBC Sports Live Extra.

This staunch rivalry has produced many classic games, and this one could have a major impact on how the season plays out.

The home side has struggled of late, finding themselves unable to hold any kind of lead for even seconds midweek in a home Champions League matchup loss to Olympiakos. The recent Premier League results have been all over the map, most recently a 5-2 win over pesky Leicester but a crunching 2-0 defeat to Chelsea prior to that.

Arsenal will get Olivier Giroud back after his suspension from the midweek European fixture, but he only finds the bench as Theo Walcott starts up front. Central defender Laurent Koscielny is out with a hamstring injury, replaced by Gabriel Paulista. Mathieu Flamini is also missing with a hamstring problem, and a dead leg keeps Mikel Arteta from appearing in the squad.

Petr Cech, meanwhile, has proven fit to start in goal for Arsenal and is in the starting lineup, a relatively first-choice lineup from Arsene Wenger aside from the miss of Koscielny. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain looks to be the first option off the bench, with Giroud as well. The Gunners, for all their ups and downs recently, would draw level with the Red Devils and go two from the top should they hold fort at home and pick up three points.

Ander Herrera is the only real injury problem for the visiting Red Devils as he missed the midweek win over Wolfsburg. Anthony Martial has retained his spot up front after digging it in immediately on arrival. He is supported by Wayne Rooney and the in-form Juan Mata. Michael Carrick is fit to start in midfield alongside Bastian Schweinsteiger.

Arsenal: Cech; Bellerin, Mertesacker, Gabriel, Monreal; Coquelin, Cazorla; Ramsey, Ozil, Sanchez; Walcott.
Subs: Ospina, Debuchy, Chambers, Gibbs, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Campbell, Giroud.

Manchester United: De Gea, Young, Smalling, Blind, Darmian, Carrick, Schweinsteiger, Mata, Rooney, Memphis, Martial
Subs: Romero, Jones, McNair, Schneiderlin, Valencia, Fellaini, Wilson
