Everton host Manchester United at Goodison Park on Monday (Watch live, 12:30 p.m. ET on NBCSN and online via NBCSports.com) with a real New Year’s Day cracker in store.
The Toffees have lost just once under new manager Sam Allardyce in eight games, with that defeat coming on Saturday at Bournemouth. As for United, it’s been a miserable festive period for the Red Devils with three draws against Leicester, Burnley and Southampton.
In team news Everton make seven changes from the team which lost at Bournemouth with Wayne Rooney starting against his former club and both Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Gylfi Sigurdsson dropping to the bench.
United bring in Anthony Martial for Romelu Lukaku up front, while Ashley Young is suspended with Ander Herrera coming into the starting lineup.
