Memphis Depay’s first official goal as a member of Manchester United restored a bit of order at Old Trafford, which had seen Club Brugge dart out to a 1-0 lead on a Michael Carrick own goal.

Memphis juggled a long Carrick cross over Dion Cools. The young Dutchman then dribbled across the box, making one or two would-be tacklers miss on the way to belting a low shot into the net for an equalizing goal.
That’ll curry some favor with the Old Trafford faithful, and the Red Devils’ team room as well.
His second goal, video forthcoming, was even better.
Cools allowed him to walk in from the left on his preferred right foot. The ensuing curler was a beautiful goal. It was 2-1 United at the half.
