Chelsea assist No. 4 for Christian Pulisic has the Blues one step closer to the 2020-21 Champions League.

Facing compact and already-relegated Norwich City, the Blues struggled to find danger in the first 45 minutes aside from Tim Krul saves on Olivier Giroud and Pulisic.

The 21-year-old American made a nice run into space and Marcos Alonso slipped him the ball deep in first-half stoppage time.

Pulisic was given room from Todd Cantwell and created another yard with a cut to the right, crossing into the mix where Giroud muscled past Timm Klose to head home.

Pulisic has nine goals and four assists this season, eight and three of those coming in the Premier League. Giroud’s goal is his sixth of the PL campaign.

A win gives Chelsea 63 points with Leicester City and Manchester United on 59 and not in action until Thursday.
