WATCH: Spurs’ Pochettino explains his views on Sissoko capture, use

The Spurs manager is happy with his team's performance heading into the match v. Stoke.

Unlike fans in multiple Premier League cities, Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino wasn’t sweating the arrival of Moussa Sissoko on transfer deadline day.

Pochettino was instead relaxing in Spain, but he sure is happy to add a player of Sissoko’s caliber. Mostly, it seems, for what it means to Spurs’ depth.

With UEFA Champions League football to go with its Premier League slate and Cup requirements, Spurs have a lot of opportunities to showcase Sissoko’s versatility.

Here’s Pochettino:

“He’s a player that can help us a lot. The EURO was fantastic. He’s a player that can bring experience. He’s fast, strong, a lot of different possibilities to play. You know when you play a lot of different competitions, you need to keep your level.”

Sissoko is a gifted player who can dominate matches with the proper motivation. Tottenham beat Everton to his signature after both teams saw $39 million bids accepted by Newcastle United.
