West Ham United get their season underway at home against new boys Cardiff City at 10:00am ET this morning.

The Hammers are missing Andy Carroll through injury, while new signing Stewart Downing is on the bench. For Cardiff City, their first-ever game in the Premier League is a tough test at Upton Park.

Malky Mackay starts with Chilean signing Gary Medel in midfield and Craig Bellamy returns to the PL with his new team.
