We get it: this is a weird question, but we can’t help our dreams of the Premier League popping up during any gap in World Cup play (Less than two months away!).

And it’s an interesting query, isn’t it? Rooting for which country is akin to cheering for Manchester United? Which lineup plays a bit like Tottenham Hotspur?

Let’s consider all these factors and get a little weird.

[ RELATED: Complete bracket for Round of 16, more ]

Argentina -- Considering they have 400 Citizens and wear sky blue: Manchester City

Nigeria -- Promising, but capable of giving up bad goals: West Bromwich Albion

Germany -- Incredibly-deep in talent, hums like a machine: Chelsea

United States -- Gritty, over-achieving, validity doubted: Stoke City

Chile -- Talent for a title run, but can they sustain the whole way? Everton

Brazil -- Lots of titles, iconic players, capable of drama: Manchester United

Belgium -- Young, flashy, capable of anything: Southampton

Uruguay -- Plenty of attack, suspect defenders, a biter: Liverpool

France -- Mercurial, brilliant, loaded with talent, French-led: Arsenal

Algeria -- Part of you is wondering how they are still here: Sunderland

Switzerland -- Have the tools, slightly overlooked, can they prove mettle? Aston Villa

Colombia -- Oh boy can they attack, but can they close it down? Swansea City

Greece -- Trouble scoring goals, only diehards like the style: West Ham United

Costa Rica -- Wait a minute, where did this complete team come from? Crystal Palace

Netherlands -- Gaggle of great players, never quite breaking through: Tottenham Hotspur

Mexico -- Talented, looking good, but you just know they’re going to screw it up: Newcastle United
