On-loan Jack Wilshere is getting used to pulling on a shirt that doesn’t read Arsenal, and realizes that may be the new norm.

The England midfielder has played six games for Bournemouth, starting the last five, and is again in the Starting XI as the top-half Cherries seek to climb higher at Middlesbrough on Saturday.

Wilshere, 24, admits that his loan away from Arsenal for playing time could turn into something more, whether at Bournemouth or elsewhere.

From The Daily Mail:

“To be honest your question is a hard question to answer because I don’t know what to say. I genuinely don’t know if I am going to end up at Arsenal or somewhere else.

“If you’d ask me two months ago if I was going to finish my career at Arsenal then I would have said, ‘Yeah, of course.’

“The fans have been great to me, the boss has been great to me. I have a lot of friends there. But sometimes that’s the way football is. Two months ago I wouldn’t have seen myself being here, but here I am. And I’m enjoying it.”

The quotes come from a long profile piece by the Daily Mail’s Matt Lawton, as Wilshere discusses how he came to leave Arsenal and manager Arsene Wenger’s promise of playing time if he stayed at the Emirates.

Is it over from him at first-place Arsenal?
