After two straight nights of rainouts, the Orioles finally got to play the Yankees in a doubleheader Wednesday. The O's dropped both games, losing Game 1 5-3 then falling to New York 3-1 in the nightcap.
Baltimore now heads to Cleveland for a four-game series against the Indians.

David Hess allowed five runs (four earned) in six innings of work in Game 1. The Yankees collected six hits against Hess, four of them leaving the ballpark.
Speaking of the long ball, Trey Mancini smacked his eighth homer of the season in the Game 1 loss, a first inning solo shot off of J.A. Happ.
Andrew Cashner pitched well in the nightcap, going six innings and allowing just two runs, but was hung with the loss as the Baltimore offense could only muster one run.
The Orioles returned RHP Evan Phillips to Triple-A Norfolk after Wednesday's action. Phillips joined Baltimore in New York to serve as the 26th man for the doubleheader.
J.A. Happ collected his third win of the season in Game 1 Wednesday after pitching 5 1/3 innings of three-run ball. Aroldis Chapman pitched a scoreless ninth to record his 10th save, getting his 11th just a few hours later in the nightcap.
The Yankees hit four home runs in Game 1, SS Gleyber Torres launching two of them while C Gary Sanchez added to his team-leading tally with his 12th home run of the year. Torres hit yet another tater in the nightcap, a fourth inning solo shot.
Domingo German was dominant in Game 2, going seven strong and striking out eight Orioles while allowing just one run. German is now 8-1 on the season.
Luke Voit went 3-for-4 and drove in two runs in Wednesday night's win.
3B Miguel Andujar elected to undergo surgery on his torn right labrum, ending his 2019 season.
Cleveland had Wednesday off as they get set to host the O's this weekend. They'll be coming off a 9-0 win over the White Sox Tuesday in which Cleveland hit five homers, two of them coming off the bat of RF Jordan Luplow.
