APE PICKS RAVENS

APE PICKS RAVENS

SALT LAKE CITY (AP) Too bad gambling's illegal in Utah: This ape's on a roll.

An orangutan at a Utah zoo has predicted the winning Super Bowl team each of the past five years. The ape, named Eli, is picking the Baltimore Ravens this time around.

Casinos in neighboring Nevada favor the San Francisco 49ers.

Eli made his pick by knocking down a papier mache goal post decorated with the Ravens logo. He ignored the 49ers post.

Hogle Zoo spokeswoman Erica Hansen said Eli has hesitated in years past, but charged toward the Ravens side this year. He then joined his mate and daughter in chowing down on the edible posts.

At least he's confident.

Watch Ravens' Matthew Judon and his daughter hit the 'Renegade' dance

Watch Ravens' Matthew Judon and his daughter hit the 'Renegade' dance

One common thing that we have seen during the coronavirus quarantine is a major increase in the number of cute videos of athletes with their children, and the app TikTok has been a major reason why.

On Friday, Ravens defensive lineman Matthew Judon was the latest athlete to join the craze.

Video surfaced of Judon hitting the 'Renegade,' a popular dance on the app. But what made Judon's version different is his young daughter, Aniyah, joined him, and it was adorable.

Judon is not the first Ravens player to join the TikTok craze, as Robert Griffin III posted a video of him and his wife doing the 'Do It Like Me' challenge. Lamar Jackson also showcased his dance moves on the app a few weeks ago.

The defensive lineman is coming off his best season as a pro and was given the franchise tag by the Ravens this offseason.

Lamar Jackson works out with free agent wide receiver Antonio Brown

Lamar Jackson works out with free agent wide receiver Antonio Brown

Lamar Jackson created a buzz throughout the entire 2019 season with his play on the field.

Recently, he’s created a buzz off the field, too.

Jackson took pictures with, and was filmed throwing to, free agent wide receiver Antonio Brown earlier Wednesday. The videos and pictures floated across social media and initiated a bit of a stir.

Ravens wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown, who is cousins with Antonio Brown, was also attending the workouts.

Antonio, who is 31, was cut by the Patriots after Week 2 last season. He is being investigated by the NFL for allegations of sexual assault against his trainer, Britney Taylor, who alleged that Antonio sexually assaulted her in 2017 and 2018. She also claims that in 2018, she was raped by Antonio.

Antonio has denied all allegations against him and has countersued Taylor for defamation.

The link to the Ravens and Antonio Brown, a seven-time Pro Bowler, is a clear one, as the Ravens are widely expected to make at least one upgrade in their receiving corps in the NFL Draft later this month.

While the workouts happened on Wednesday, they might not continue for much longer. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis issued a stay-at-home order, effective Thursday at midnight.
