Flacco still not concerned about contract

Joe Flacco may be sweating when training camp starts, but he wont be sweating over a new contract.

That was the message the Ravens quarterback delivered when he reported to camp on Sunday and was asked about negotiations on a deal.

I havent really been paying attention to it, Flacco said, as reported by baltimoreravens.com. Its not my business to be in there, and Im not the one negotiating.

All in all, Flacco sounds pretty laid-back about how many millions hes going to get.

Theres no timetable, Flacco said. I see myself playing here for a while. It doesnt matter when it gets done. Im sure at some point well agree to something. Im kind of just coming here to play football and if my agent calls me with some news, then he calls me with some news. If he doesnt, he doesnt.

Im here to play football, and Im excited to do it."

In 2012, Flacco will play the last season of his rookie contract, which will pay him a reported 6.76 million.

Backup quarterback Robert Griffin III was present as well.
