Ravens rest Boldin, Ngata, Suggs vs Bengals

CINCINNATI (AP) The Ravens are resting receiver Anquan Boldin, defensive tackle Haloti Ngata and linebacker Terrell Suggs against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday for a game that meant little to either team.

The Ravens already had won the AFC North and the Bengals had clinched the final wild card berth.

Boldin is inactive for the first time this season because of a bruised shoulder suffered during a win over the Giants. Ngata missed practice all week with a sore knee. Suggs returned from a torn right biceps and started the last two games. Safety Bernard Pollard misses a third straight game with an injured chest.

Cornerback Terence Newman is out for the Bengals because of a groin injury. Nate Clements takes his spot opposite Leon Hall.

Ravens' left guard Bradley Bozeman dominates 72-ounce steak challenge

Baltimore Ravens’ starting left guard Bradley Bozeman showed off one of his many talents earlier this week as he dominated a 72-ounce steak dinner.

Bozeman accomplished this feat at The Big Texan Steak Ranch while traveling with his wife. The restaurant is famous for this eating challenge, which involves eating over 4 pounds of steak, shrimp cocktail, baked potato, salad topped off with a butter roll in under an hour.

Although Bozeman is an absolute unit of a person, this was still no small feat. Bozeman strategized during the meal in order to ensure success as he switched from steak sauce to honey. Yet, Bozeman still questioned his ability to successfully finish with just 2 ounces of steak left. He even instructed his wife who was filming in the audience to shut the camera off in fear of getting sick on camera.

“I knew it was going to be tough, but I didn’t think it was going to be that tough,” Bozeman told ESPN. “The last bite was rough.”

Bozeman pushed on and not only finished the steak, but even had a little carrot cake for dessert. His prize? Free dinner, a t-shirt, and most likely a massive stomach ache.

Despite his claim that this was “the toughest food thing” he’s ever done, Bozeman flashed a big smile holding the prized shirt which read “I ate it all!”

Bozeman is now one of only approximately 10,000 people who have successfully finished the meal, with over 110,000 people having tried.

Report: John Harbaugh to miss NFL Combine after knee replacement surgery

Report: John Harbaugh to miss NFL Combine after knee replacement surgery

John Harbaugh is officially on the injury report.

According to Jamison Hensley of ESPN, the reigning NFL Coach of the Year won’t be in Indianapolis next week for the NFL Combine due to a knee replacement surgery he underwent two weeks ago. It’s the first time he won’t be in Indianapolis for the NFL Combine.

Harbaugh, 57, led the Ravens to a 14-2 regular season in 2019 — a franchise best — and won his first Coach of the Year award.

Harbaugh and the majority of the Ravens coaching staff will return for next season after Greg Roman and Don “Wink” Martindale weren’t selected for head coach openings.

The Ravens currently have the 28th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
