OWINGS MILLS -- Here’s an update on the Ravens’ injury situation following Wednesday’s practice:
The Ravens had six offensive linemen that didn’t practice -- Darryl Baldwin, James Hurst (concussion), Ryan Jensen, Kelechi Osemele (Achilles), Eugene Monroe (hand, arm) and De’Ondre Wesley (knee).
Others who missed practice included wide receivers Michael Campanaro (soft tissue injury) and Breshad Perriman (knee); linebacker Steven Means; cornerbacks Tramain Jacobs, Rashaan Melvin (knee), and Lardarius Webb (hamstring); and running back Lorenzo Taliaferro (knee).
Teams are not required to give a detailed injury report during preseason, but Ravens coach John Harbaugh gave information on some players:
On Wesley, who was injured during Saturday night’s loss in Philadelphia:
“There’s some ligament damage in there,” Harbaugh said. “I don’t know exactly what the time frame is. It’s not something I’ve talked with the doctors about yet, in detail. He is out for this week.”
On Melvin: “Has a soft tissue that he’s working through,” Harbaugh said. “Probably a typical training camp thing, so we’ll see. I don’t know if he’ll be out there or not on Saturday. I have my fingers crossed.”
