BALTIMORE—Orioles outfielder Hyun Soo Kim left the game after the first inning on Sunday with a strained right hamstring.
Kim grounded out to first in his at-bat. He was replaced in left field by Joey Rickard.
Kim has been healthy all season, and he’s batting .329 with three home runs and 11 RBIs.
The Orioles outfield has been remarkably healthy this season. Only Adam Jones has missed time with a rib cage injury early in the season.
If the Orioles had to put Kim on the disabled list, they have one left-handed hitting outfielder, Henry Urrutia on the 40-man roster. Urrutia is currently at Bowie, where he’s hitting .306.
Mike Yastrzemski is at Norfolk, but he’s only hitting .239 with the Tides and isn’t on the 40-man roster.
