The Ravens had a new player at practice today, but he was a little bit smaller than everybody else. Five-year-old Jack Kirkbride joined the team Friday to run in a touchdown, dodging several tackles along the way.

Jack is currently fighting leukemia, but he didn't let that slow his game at all. He was on the way home from Johns Hopkins when he stopped into practice. Jack says his favorite player is Joe Flacco, and was wearing a #5 jersey during his visit with the team.
John Harbaugh said the visit "put things into perspective quite nicely." The Ravens have been struggling offensively for a couple weeks, but Jack was able to boost spirits heading into Sunday's game against the Giants. All the players enjoyed having him, and he might have been able to teach them a couple new plays.
