OWINGS MILLS – Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith was listed as a full participant on Wednesday’s injury report after missing the previous two games with a back injury. Smith’s improved status is a good sign for the Ravens (6-5) heading into Sunday’s important home game against the Dolphins (7-4). As the Ravens’ best cornerback, Smith is a difference-maker defensively who the Ravens are eager to see return.

Other Ravens who did not practice due to injury were wide receiver Kamar Aiken (thigh), tight end Crockett Gillmore (thigh), left guard Alex Lewis (ankle), and running back Lorenzo Taliaferro (thigh). Ravens coach John Harbaugh said after practice he expected Aiken to be fine by Sunday. Lewis is expected to miss several more weeks, while Yanda was given a veteran’s day off.
