It’s all smiles for Jim Harbaugh and his family, although a little bit ahead of schedule.
The Michigan football coach and his wife, Sarah, welcomed their fourth child — Harbaugh’s seventh — into the world, he tweeted Wednesday afternoon calling him the “newest Wolverine teammate.”
The four-pound, 13-ounce baby is named after none other than his older brother and Ravens coach John.
Arriving early, weighing in at 4 lb 13 oz, with an 18 in wing span, our newest Wolverine teammate, John Harbaugh. Precious... God is good...— Coach Harbaugh (@CoachJim4UM) January 11, 2017
Last week on Jan. 6, Harbaugh tweeted while visiting the White House that he and his wife were expecting, but the baby’s due date was still a month away.
Harbaugh recently finished his second season with the Wolverines, carrying them to two consecutive 10-3 seasons, despite ending 2016 with a heartbreaking 33-32 loss to Florida State on Dec. 30. In the final rankings, the team fell to No. 10 — it’s lowest ranking all season after spending most of it in the top 5.
