In Sunday's game against the Bengals, Justin Tucker kicked an incredible season-high 57 yard field goal to give the Ravens a 13-3 lead in the second quarter.
Olympic swimmer and Towson, Maryland native Michael Phelps was evidently watching the game, and was as impressed by the kick as the rest of us were.
Just under two minutes later, Tucker kicked another field goal from the 54 yard line to put the Ravens up 16-3. Both these kicks follow a 52 yard shot Tucker made in the first quarter. For perspective, there are 12 NFL teams who have not made a 52+ yard field goal this season, and Tucker has made three in one game.
As of halftime in this game, Justin Tucker has made 33 straight field goals, and is a perfect 26-for-26 this season. Lately the Ravens have been challenged by injuries and inconsistencies, but if one thing is for certain it is that they can rely on their kicker.
