Bradley Beal, Marlon Humphrey react to epic Florida loss

Washington

LSU defeated No. 6 Florida 37-34 Saturday in Gainesville, but it wasn't just the ramifications of the upset making headlines. Florida's defensive back Marco Wilson was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct after tossing an LSU player's cleat down the field, giving LSU an automatic first down, and ultimately leading to a Cade York 57-yard game-winning field goal.

This sequence sent social media ablaze, including tweets from Washington Wizards guard Bradley Beal and Baltimore Ravens cornerback Marlon Humphrey.

"Too soon," Beal said in response to NBC Sports Washington's Chris Miller tweeting "Gator Bait #GeauxTigers"

Beal earned All-SEC honors during his time at Florida back in 2011.

"This loss for Florida shows how valuable Kyle Pitts is..." Humphrey said. Pitts, a Heisman candidate, surprisingly appeared on the inactive list pregame.

The Gators now head into the SEC Championship Game to face top-ranked Alabama next week, even if they win, however, their playoff chances took a massive hit Saturday.
