After his unforgettable celebrations all throughout D.C. in the days following the Washington Capitals' June Stanley Cup Final win, Alexander Ovechkin's day with the Cup became highly anticipated.
The Great Eight decided to stop by a World Cup event, treating countless fans in Moscow, Russia to a Cup viewing (to get a full feeling of what the madness was like, check out the video above).
Fans, who came out in droves, weren't the only ones who laid their eyes on the coveted piece of hardware for the first time.
Add Mikhail, Ovechkin's father, to the list of first-timers, too.

This brief stop at the World Cup Fanfest is just a small portion of Ovechkin's itinerary.
