After battling back from deficits of 2-1, 3-2, 4-3 and 5-4, the Caps were not able to stop Mika Zibanejad in Thursday’s overtime 6-5 loss to the Rangers.
Despite the Caps strong start, Zibanejad was able to score five goals including the game winner.
The Caps have now lost two back-to-back roads games but hope to beat the Pittsburgh Penguins.
