In the midst of an ever-growing rivalry between conference rivals, the Washington Capitals announced that Monumental Sports & Entertainment Foundation will donate the team's half of the 50/50 raffle during Wednesday night's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins to the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh.
The funds will go towards victims and families of the Tree of Life Synagogue in Squirrel Hill. The Oct. 27 mass shooting left 11 dead and seven injured.
50/50 Raffle tickets are available for purchase when Capital One Arena doors open until the start of the third period.
Use the #StrongerThanHate on social media and join the Capitals Wednesday night in support of the city of Pittsburgh.
