Capitals

The Caps are finally back home in the nation's capital after a week-long All-Star Break. The Metropolitan Division, under head coach Todd Reirden, took home the $1 million All-Star Game prize. Capitals goalie and Braden Holtby had a stellar game and defenseman John Carlson won the hardest shot contest.

Now, the Caps have to address their seven-game losing streak, hoping to bounce back with a win against the visiting Calgary Flames. Since Alex Ovechkin voluntarily sat out the All-Star Game, he not play due to the resulting one-game suspension.

Here's everything you need to know before the Caps hit the ice for the first time in nine days.
