The Washington Capitals (2-1-1) return home from a 6-0 loss to the Devils to face Auston Matthews, John Tavares and the Toronto Maple Leafs (4-1) on Saturday night after their devastating loss against the Devils on Thursday.
With Alex Ovechkin and Evgeny Kuznetsov off to a blistering scoring pace to begin the season, there will be plenty of firepower on display at Capital One Arena.
The Caps beat the Maple Leafs in two of their three meetings last season, but with the former Islander Tavares lining up with the NHL's next big thing in Matthews, this is not the same Maple Leafs team.
