While taking precautions amid the coronavirus outbreaks, all major league sports, college sports and affiliated events and mass gatherings are canceled. While you're stuck at home working or relaxing, take a mental break from everything by following these D.C. athletes, their significant others, or pets on social media for great content.

Tom Wilson ( @tomwilson )

Washington Capitals' Tom Wilson has always been a great follow on social media, but he and his girlfriend Taylor Pischke just adopted a puppy whom they named Halle and she is the cutest puppy you've ever seen. With the NHL suspending their season due to coronavirus, Wilson has a lot of time to bond with his new puppy, and he will surely be posting a lot of puppy content while at home!

Alex Ovechkin ( @aleksandrovechkinofficial ) and wife, Nastya ( @nastyashubskaya )

The Ovechkin family is just the cutest. Between Ovi, his wife, Nastya, their son, Sergei, and black labrador, Blake, with another baby boy on the way, the Ovechkins are always posting fun family videos, such as this one of Ovi playing some street hockey with Sergei and Blake.

T.J. Oshie ( @tjoshie7) and wife, Lauren ( @lauren.oshie )

Like the Ovechkins, the Oshies have no shortage of family fun content on their feed. Daughters Lyla and Leni provide endless fun from swimming classes, playing with dolls and rolling around with their two pups. Lauren is also a social media influencer, who posts a variety of outfits, children's must-haves, skincare and other beauty tips.

Derrius Guice ( @DhaSickest on Twitter )

While Derrius Guice is private on Instagram, he posts no shortage of good content on Twitter, often replying to fans or seeking a new spot to go bowling. While injured during the 2018 Redskins season, Guice live-streamed himself playing Fortnite on Twitch. While social distancing due to coronavirus is encouraged, Guice will likely spend a lot of time gaming, so it would not be surprising to see a Twitch stream from him in the near future.

Dwayne Haskins ( @dh_simba7 )

Dwayne Haskins is determined to come back better than ever in the Redskins' upcoming 2020 season, so there's no shortage of workout videos posted to his Instagram feed and stories. While couped up at home, you might find some ideas for drills to do in your backyard.

Ryan Kerrigan's Bulldogs: Franklin, George, Truman and Kennedy ( )

Yes, Ryan Kerrigan and his wife, Jessica, have FOUR Bulldogs all named after U.S. presidents. They are the cutest ever and with 12.5k followers, a lot of other people think so too!

Patrick Corbin ( @patrickcorbin46 )

Nationals pitcher Patrick Corbin is another great follow. Corbin built a nine-hole mini-golf course in the backyard of his Florida home, and with the Nats staying down in Florida for workouts amid the cancellation of spring training, you'll likely see a lot of mini-golfing from Corbin with his dog, Ace.
