Several D.C. athletes made guest appearances at Capital One Arena for the Capitals' first game of the 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs against the Carolina Hurricanes on Thursday night, which Washington won 4-2.
The athletes spotted were Wizards' Bradley Beal and Nationals' Adam Eaton, Max Scherzer, Ryan Zimmerman and Trea Turner.
This is not the first time that the Nationals have shown District pride at a Caps playoff game. Zimmerman and Scherzer led the "Let's go Caps" cheer prior to Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final, and the Caps won the game 6-2.
Beal was seen rocking a Caps hoodie and cap while taking in the opening game festivities.

Following the Caps victory, it was clear that Beal was hype for his fellow D.C. players. An Instagram story from Kamiah Adams showed Beal replicating Evgeny Kuznetsov's bird celebration as he exited the arena.
The caption to the story read, "The bromance continues," with both Beal and Kuznetsov tagged in the video. Adams is spot on in saying Beal and Kuznetsov have a special bond, as this is not the first time we've seen the two supporting each other.
