On Friday, EA Sports announced a new addition to the soon-to-be released NHL 20: alumni teams that feature some of the biggest stars from each franchise's history.
On that list, as pointed out by one Caps fan on Twitter, is NBC Sports Washington's own Craig Laughlin, who holds down the third line left-wing slot. Michael Pivonka and Mike Knuble complete that trio. Other players on the Caps' roster include Hall of Famers Mike Gartner and Rod Langway, but there several notable omissions such as Peter Bondra, Dale Hunter, and Olie Kolzig.
Laughlin played six seasons in Washington, scoring 110 goals to go with 173 assists in 428 games. His 41 power play goals in D.C. rank 20th all-time in franchise history.
NHL 20 is scheduled to hit the shelves Sept. 13.
