The Capitals' 2017-2018 regular-season comes to an end on Saturday against the New Jersey Devils at Capital One Arena.
The season finale serves as a possible playoff preview between the Metro Division foes.
The Capitals (48-26-7, 103 pts) will enter the 2018 Stanley Cup Playoffs as the No. 1 seed in the Metro Division, and will face the No. 1 Wild Card team in the East.
The Devils (44-28-9, 97 pts) currently sit in the No. 1 Wild Card spot, meaning if the seeds hold serve through the end of Sunday, the Capitals and Devils will meet again in the first round of the 2018 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs.
