From NBC Sports Washington's Andrew Gillis:

CAPITALS VS. BLUE JACKETS PLAYERS TO WATCH

Alex Ovechkin, LW, Capitals (59 games, 37 goals, 35 assists): Of course the league's third-highest goal scorer of all time has to be the player to watch for a big division matchup. Not only did Ovechkin reach an incredible milestone on Tuesday, he's also put up seven points over his last five games.

Oliver Bjorkstrand, RW, Blue Jackets (58 games, 21 goals, 24 assists): Bjorkstrand put up a miraculous four-point (1 G, 3 A) performance in a 6-4 win over the Golden Knights in CBJ's last matchup. He's the team's leading point-getter on the season, but also posts an abysmal -19. See which side of the puck he finds himself on on Thursday night.
