How to watch Capitals vs. Canucks

Capitals

The Capitals are set to take on a familiar face on Friday night when former head coach Bruce Boudreau and the Vancouver Canucks host Washington north of the border on Friday evening.

Washington has played better as of late, winning three of its last four games, but did fall to Edmonton on Wednesday in overtime. Vancouver has been playing a brand of hockey as good as any team lately, as the Cancucks have won six of their last seven games.

Here's everything you need to know for this Friday night matchup:

CAPITALS VS. CANUCKS PLAYERS  TO WATCH

Capitals: Alex Ovechkin, LW (57 games, 36 goals, 34 assists, 70 points): Alex Ovechkin currently sits at 766 career goals, tied with Jaromir Jagr for third on the NHL's all-time list. After missing an easy opportunity to convert goal No. 767 on Wednesday night, the Capitals' captain will surely be eager to pass Jagr Friday night in Vancouver.

Canucks: J.T. Miller, C (56 games, 23 goals, 44 assists, 67 points): J.T. Miller has scored in each of Vancouver's last three games and is coming off a four-point night in the Cancuks' victory over Montreal on Wednesday night. Slowing Miller will be a key factor for Washington if they hope to leave Vancouver with a win.
