Monumental Sports' service pup Scout tries his talents on the ice

Monumental Sports' service pup Scout tries his talents on the ice

There are cute videos of dogs, and then there are cutie videos of dogs trying to ice skate.

Monumental Sports is helping raise a service-dog-in-training named Scout. The puppy will hang out with the Capitals (who have a dog of their own named Captain), Wizards and Mystics until he’s ready to graduate as a full-time service dog for America’s VetDogs.

Scout joined the Capitals on the ice for their pregame skate Tuesday night and tested his puck-handling skills while trying to figure out how to stay up on all fours.

Let’s just say he has a little work to do.

Luckily for Scout, he’ll have plenty of chances to practice as a frequent visitor of the Capitals’ facilities.

Bachelorette's Dylan Barbour on which Caps player he most identifies with

Bachelorette's Dylan Barbour on which Caps player he most identifies with

In a fun Twitter thread Wednesday, the Nashville Predators said which NHL teams notable Bachelor and Bachelorette alum align with.

The Caps lucked out and got the dependable Dylan Barbour who is "solid" and "committed," a testament that Barbour himself agreed with.

"It's the Caps' year," Barbour told NBC Sports Washington in a private message on Twitter. "They're dependable. Committed is great."

Although Barbour doesn't consider himself a hockey fan, he said he would most identify with "whoever the nice handsome one is."

Though Barbour doesn't seem to be a big enough Caps fan to know that most fans would give that award to Tom Wilson, he was nice enough to say he thinks it's the Caps' year.

New Tom Wilson bobblehead features his pup Halle and benefits Wolf Trap Animal Rescue

New Tom Wilson bobblehead features his pup Halle and benefits Wolf Trap Animal Rescue

As if Tom Wilson and his new puppy Halle couldn't get any cuter...

The Washington Capitals and FOCO debuted a Tom Wilson and Halle bobblehead Friday and it's the cutest thing we've ever seen.

Featuring Halle with a Capitals' bandana, a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the bobblehead will benefit Wolf Trap Animal Rescue, where Halle was adopted.

Since Wilson didn't get his own bobblehead night due to the coronavirus pandemic, purchasing one for a worthy cause is a great way to support.

The preorder is available now here.
