From Davey Martinez and other Washington Nationals rocking the red to the Washington Redskins declaring their fandom on Twitter, all of Washington, D.C. sports have jumped on the Capitals Stanley Cup bandwagon.
This included the Washington Mystics, except they are more all-in than other teams.
On Friday, the Mystics announced that they moved the start time of their June 7 game up three hours, due to Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final that will be held at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.
Moving the game up is to make room for another Capitals viewing party at Capital One Arena. The last viewing party for Game 2 brought together over 14,000 fans to celebrate the first Stanley Cup win in franchise history.
Now scheduled for 4:00 on June 7, the Mystics will host the defending WNBA Champions Minnesota Lynx just before the watch party.
Want a good seat to watch Game 5 between the Caps and Vegas Golden Knights? I recommend buying a ticket for one of the Mystics biggest games of the season.
