Nicklas Backstrom's kids film adorable good luck video

Capitals

With Nicklas Backstrom back in the action after missing over three games, his kids had a special message to send to their dad before Thursday’s puck drop.

As the Capitals face elimination in Game 5 against the Islanders, Haley, Vince and Alizee Backstrom were featured in an adorable video wishing their father and the Capitals good luck in their playoff matchup.

Backstrom’s oldest, 6-year-old Haley, kicked the video off saying, “Hi daddy. I miss you.” Her 3-year-old younger brother Vince then echoed her words verbatim, saying he missed his father as well who left for the NHL bubble almost a month ago.

Then, the two eldest Backstrom children started chanting “Let’s go Caps” with Vince proudly waving his Capitals flag while Alizee, who was born back in March, bounced along for support.

While the Caps kids were unable to make the trek to Toronto, they will hopefully be the good luck charms their dads need to survive another playoff game.
